More from the series:
Madrid Tiembla, 2020
‘Madrid Tiembla’ is a series of digitally modified analog photographs, which serve as an imaginary visual diary of an altered and psychedelic Madrid.
Since I like to experiment with Photoshop and mixing digital and analog techniques, I take simple images that act as a blank canvas and see how far I can go modifying them. I usually take the pictures with a 35mm camera, scan them, and edit them by creating layers with different properties and blend modes.
Doing so, I try to turn pictures that would otherwise go unnoticed because they didn’t turn out as I planned, ending up with what I like to call ‘image upcycling’.
