Plastic Dreams is a photographic series inspired by the 21st century’s pop culture. As our lifestyle is increasingly conditioned by visuals and images, what used to be religious devotion is now a cult to appearance and false perfection – ideals that turn plastic in every sense into a pillar of contemporary iconography.

All the elements present in Plastic Dreams, from the costumes to the post-production to the model’s own identity, are so far removed from reality that the photographs are no longer personal portraits – what is portrayed is artificiality itself, the essence of the purely unnatural.
